One of the four late entrants into the series (Alekseev, Kasimdzhanov, Akopian, Eljanov) might not be able to participate in the 6th and final tournament. FIDE has given no indication how they will select the odd man out (or perhaps they will expand the final tournament to 15 players? or leave Aronian out since he's guaranteed 1st place overall no matter what happens in the final tournament?).
