Apparently the webpage on the Chess Oscar website indicating Anand had the most votes was not the official results. Results did not come out until the end of November (it's almost time to close out 2007) and the winner was actually ... Kramnik?
Strange, Anand becomes world champion but Kramnik wins the Oscar??
